This competition, spearheaded by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), is a groundbreaking initiative nurturing young talents in Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, coding, drones, and emerging technology. Beyond celebrating technological excellence, it serves as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation. The event\u2019s resounding success solidifies its pivotal role in shaping Malaysia\u2019s technological future.<\/p>
Our representatives excelled at the central zone level competition held at First City University College, Bandar Utama, on September 7, 2023. Four of our five teams showcased remarkable success in three of the four categories.<\/p><\/div>
Central Zone Level Competition Result<\/strong><\/p> Category 1 \u2013 Computational Thinking<\/strong><\/p> 1st Runner-up \u2013 Jacob Imran Alfaiz bin Mohamad Shatri & Nik Aiman Hakim bin Nik Azhar<\/p> 2nd Runner-up - Ariz Hamzah bin Rizal Hamzah & Muhammad Huzaifah bin Muhammad Faizul<\/p> Category 2 \u2013 Digital Gaming Challenge<\/strong><\/p> 1st Runner-up \u2013 Ammar Harith bin Mohamad Aznan, Isaac Luqman bin Mohamad Shatri, Syafiq Darwisy bin Syahrom & Wildan Ariff bin Mohd Ariff<\/p> Category 3 \u2013 Techlympic Science Challenge<\/strong><\/p> 1st Runner-up \u2013 Aisy Safiya binti Mohamad Aznan, Haleema Rufina binti Mohamed Khalid, Marsya Damia binti Syahrom & Zaara Alesha binti Syed Azmi<\/p> All four teams successfully progressed to the National Level held at PICC Putrajaya on November 19 and 20, 2023. With an impressive participation of nearly 10,000 individuals nationwide, the event served as a testament to the dedication and talent exhibited by young tech innovators, facing intense competition.<\/p> Jacob Imran Alfaiz and Nik Aiman Hakim clinched an inspiring 1st Runner-up placing in the Computational Thinking category, earning medals and a RM1700.00 monetary reward. Their wonderful success is anticipated to ignite greater interest among fellow students.
